This week, we were honored to welcome Veterans Norman Hemphill and Anthony Matchus to the Tuskegee Airmen Texas State Veterans Home!

The Tuskegee Airmen TSVH can accommodate up to 120 Veterans, so we look forward to admitting more of America's heroes into our beautiful new home.

Sgt. Robert O'Malley was given a celebratory send-off as he departed the William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home in Temple.

Mr. O'Malley, a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, Vietnam War hero, and Medal of Honor recipient, was transferred to our brand new Tuskegee Airmen Texas State Veterans Home in Fort Worth as our very first resident.

Yesterday, the Tuskegee Airmen Texas State Veterans Home was honored to welcome Sgt. Robert O'Malley as its first resident.

Sgt. O'Malley is the first U.S. Marine Corps recipient of the Medal of Honor in the Vietnam War.

The VLB will continue to provide the utmost care to our country's brave heroes in each of our Veterans homes.

Commissioner Buckingham was honored to host the Texas VLB's grand opening of the Tuskegee Airmen Texas State Veterans Home in Fort Worth.

The VLB's 10th Texas State Veterans Home is dedicated to the fearless Tuskegee Airmen, the first African American military pilots in the U.S. Armed Forces.

The Tuskegee Airmen TSVH is 100,000 square feet with a specialized memory support neighborhood and 72 spacious rooms to support 120 Veterans!

We'll continue to ensure that every long-term resident in each of our homes receives the best possible care.
