Childbirth can feel overwhelming, so we shut down and ignore the fact that that baby has to come out somehow, eventually!

So here’s what you’re gonna do Mama 🩷

Number ONE, absorb POSITIVE stories, videos, etc. The best way to combat fear is to see just how beautiful childbirth can actually be!

TWO: Get some movement. You don’t have to be a “fit” mom! But “Motion is lotion”, during your labor and preparing your body is so important. It could also help if you’re feeling a little down, to get moving to release Endorphins 🩵

THREE: Your Provider, whether it’s an OBGYN or a Midwife plays a huge role in your experience. Especially if you’ve had a previous birth trauma or negative experience already… maybe you had a Cesarean and you want to try TOLAC/VBAC. Find a provider that is skilled and supports that!

FOUR: All I wanted during my own pregnancy, was Fruity Pebbles… so I HAD to throw in plenty of protein to “justify” how much cereal I was eating 🥴 satisfy your cravings, but definitely stick to an 80/20 ratio for Whole Foods and “junk”.

FIVE: Take a course!! Whether it’s mine, Hypnobirthing, your Hospital’s, etc. Doesn’t matter, EDUCATION = EMPOWERMENT ❤️
