Two sweet babes born within exactly 23 hours of each other, down to the minute. One surprise gender (it’s a girl!) and one sweet baby boy. I’m finally crawling out of my hole for the day and catching up on calls, texts, emails. Such a blessing to be able to be fully present for both birthing families. 🙌 Also, a huge thanks to everyone who so graciously accepts the reschedule and sends prayers and best wishes for the laboring family - thinking of all of you always. 💜🩷

Birth makes you hangry. And not just mama - the whole birth team! What did you eat afterwards? I honestly can’t even remember what I ate after my own kids were born, but usually I leave a birth and head straight for Hawaiian Bros or Chipotle. Or Whataburger if nothing else is open. ‘Yesterday Lauren’ was extra good to my future self and prepped food, so tonight I’m having a chicken salad croissant and picking at some pasta salad. 🙌🏻

February brought four sweet little loves: a successful VBAC, a big change in the birth plan handled with such strength and true grit, a precipitous birth, and a sweet family expanding from two members to three. 💕 February also saw two little sweet peas graduate from the NICU and the sweetest mama F (appreciate you mama F) work on having some breastmilk ready for homecoming. Love was in abundance this February and as always, it was such a gift to witness.

Update - I’ve been busy this past week or so and my schedule is filling on up! 🙌🏻 5 families are returning in 2026 and I’m beside myself with excitement to get to meet new baby and see their older sibling all grown up (and to get to see their moms and dads again!!) 🫶🏻😍😭

Prepped some extra lactation bites because my kids love them. Offered one to my husband. He said, “are you trying to make me lactate?” Gotta love a dad joke! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 😅

In pregnancies at high risk of small-for-gestational-age birth, a maternal Mediterranean diet was associated with lower fetal cardiac stress (NT-proBNP) and improved fetal heart function compared with usual care.

Findings are from a secondary analysis of the IMPACT BCN randomized clinical trial.

Starting off 2026 with five big boys, the first of which was welcomed in the early AM on New Year’s Day. January brought 2 VBACS and 3 first time mamas; all the strongest and most fierce, willing to do whatever it took to meet their not-so-little guys. Watching you all step into motherhood, for the first time or again, was truly such a beautiful and blessed start to the year. 💙
