In pregnancies at high risk of small-for-gestational-age birth, a maternal Mediterranean diet was associated with lower fetal cardiac stress (NT-proBNP) and improved fetal heart function compared with usual care.

Findings are from a secondary analysis of the IMPACT BCN randomized clinical trial.

Starting off 2026 with five big boys, the first of which was welcomed in the early AM on New Year’s Day. January brought 2 VBACS and 3 first time mamas; all the strongest and most fierce, willing to do whatever it took to meet their not-so-little guys. Watching you all step into motherhood, for the first time or again, was truly such a beautiful and blessed start to the year. 💙

Thank you for an amazing 2025! It was a busy, hectic, transformative, and truly beautiful year. I am not the same doula I was last January and I cannot wait to see what this year has in store. New Years started off with a baby, so we are off to a great start so far! ⭐️ 2025 families, it was the greatest honor to watch the birth of a baby, but also the birth of a mom and dad. The hard moments were walked with such strength and courage; the gorgeous moments with gratitude and joy. I am so deeply proud of every single one of you. So much love to all of you. 💜

December was filled with some long, difficult births. The kinds of births that bring you to your knees in prayer, make you sweat, and leave you in awe of the strength and determination of a mother. So proud to bear witness to the tenacity of these families. Such an honor to walk alongside each and every one of them 💜

So thankful for for presenting her Dynamic Birth Workshop. Dr. Kristen took my Spinning Babies and Body Ready Method knowledge to the next level and made it all make sense together. 3/4 of the Cowtown Doulas learned so much at the workshop, while cheering on as she hosted an event in Wise County. We can’t wait to apply this new knowledge in supporting more moms and their babies.🩷

Finally catching up on making some more onesies for some of my favorite little buddies. My usual are vibrant, but I was feeling more of a muted winter look, so I tried a new dye brand. The sage dye separated into green and brown. It’s giving diaper blowout. 😂😭
