A friend sent me a picture on one of the clouds...and it triggered me to go and look at old pictures. Well, I stumbled on a video that my sweet daughter had made about 9 months after my DBS was implanted and turned on. I had never seen this video before and it touched me in such a way. My kiddo was my head nurse before the surgery. The way her face lights up in this video created a flood of emotions. I am so blessed! Remember your caretaker is going thru "IT" with you. Now, almost 6 1/2 years after my DBS surgery, I don't even remember that I have Parkinson's Disease most of the time. Really until my phone alarm tells me to charge my battery. God is good! "WOW"

I had planned on making a video for you guys, but I got tied up harvesting pecans! LOL Seriously, that's exactly what I was doing! But all the days I was doing this I was replaying my DBS journey. So, in the next few posts I will be leading you down my road that God has so graciously given me. I hope it leaves you hopeful and thankful.

Wow! 4 YEARS! It's so hard to believe that I have been free of tremors and practically all symptoms of Parkinson's Disease for FOUR YEARS! I am so very thankful and absolutely greatful for those that were in that room when Dr. Ab Siadati went knocking around on the inside of my noggin to fix this terrible thing called Parkinson's Disease. So, the names that follow were all involved that day. I believe God had each of you placed there just for me.
