David's CHD Journey

David's CHD Journey David has hypoplastic left heart syndrome. David was born on November 25,2013 .
4lbs,9oz 18in long . He has Hypoplastic left heart syndrome .

Less than a week old , david had his first open heart surgery at cooks children's Medical center. we thought he was able to come home but things changed , month after he had his first his oxygen sats did not look good, and there was a decline in his breathing . Dr's told us that he would have to stay in the nicu until the next stage called glenn at 6 months . heart broken , not being able to bring your baby home , we continued to stay positive and pray we got some good news. On feburary 27, 2014 david had his second stage . A week later we got to bring him home . Since then , we have had to go back and forth to cooks children's medical center . This is His and our story .
