PSA🚨🦬: Traditional Buffalo Harvesting in Response to SNAP Freeze

‼️‼️‼️In response to the need for additional support to members of the Oyate that may be impacted by the Government Shutdown and disruption of SNAP Benefits, Chairman Sitting Bear has authorized 2 buffalo to be taken. This is shorter notice than usual, so please share. ‼️‼️‼️

First 🦬: is being planned for THIS Fri November 7th at the green Long Soldier District Building

Second 🦬: is in planning for Bear Soldier/ McLaughlin next week

No previous experience necessary. This is a safe learning space. Come help, share, and prepare/ take fresh meat. Open to everyone to come help and take what you need

Please bring your own tools, knives too. Some soup and cheyaka will be available to feed. Along with some squash to share. Any/ all others are welcome to bring what you can share. 🙏🏽

• Only 4.6% of students smoked ci******es in the past 30 days, down from 5.5% in 2021.
