This month , we celebrate our World-Famous Fountain, which first turned on December 15th, 1970. It became our first resident, as the first homes didn't come until nearly two years later. ⛲️
Wind-permitting, we will put it to its full height of 560-feet during its regularly scheduled runtimes throughout the day. 🎁 on the 15th

I’m excited to share plans for a sculpture to be placed at the Famous Fountain Park as part of the Legacy Fundraiser Fund. My father dedicated so much to his beloved hometown, and it’s time we honor that legacy.
He was truly a treasured member of our community, someone who not only gave generously but also brought joy to so many lives. His catchy slogan, "How sweet it is," captures his spirit, especially during events like the chamber festivals where he delighted children with free cotton candy.
These simple acts of kindness have a lasting impact, creating a sense of warmth and community spirit that we all cherish. I feel a deep calling to continue his legacy by finding new ways to give back and celebrate his memory. The love and respect he earned from the community will be remembered fondly, and it’s heartwarming to see how his spirit lives on through initiatives like the legacy fundraiser fund and the upcoming sculpture.
