Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. At Unharnessed Potential, we are reminded of the resilience and strength that defines both our nation's heroes and the rescue horses we work with in our equine therapy programs.

As we reflect on the sacrifices made by our fallen heroes, we hold in our hearts the memories of those who have given their lives to protect our freedom and way of life. We remember the courage, the sacrifice, and the unwavering commitment to duty that defined their service.

May we never forget the price of freedom and the brave souls who have paid it in full. We honor their memory and legacy, and we strive to continue their work in our own way, remembering those who given the ultimate sacrifice and continue to support their families.

In solemn remembrance, we salute the fallen heroes who have stood their post and given the last full measure of themselves. May their sacrifice never be forgotten.

Mindful Morning at UNHARNESSED POTENTIAL!

Calling all Veterans and Veteran Families!

As we head in to Memorial Day weekend, we wanted to do something special to honor our veterans and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We have partnered up with and Tomorrow, 23 May, we will be hosting a Mindful Morning activity from 1000-1200. There will be Yoga, mindfulness, and interaction with the horses! Bring your yoga mat and blocks, or just come out for some peaceful mindfulness!

We are HONORED to be chosen as one of the 95 Equine Mental Health Therapy organizations WORLDWIDE participating in this year's THROUGH HORSES campaign. The campaign runs throughout the month of May (Mental Health Awareness Month) with the goal of increasing awareness, public engagement, funds, and access to programs incorporating horses for mental health and personal growth. ANY support is greatly appreciated, including sharing this page!

This will be the first of many special videos we share this month, but today we are highlighting the importance of caring for those that care SO much for our animals...Veterinarians.

Veterinarians are the ones who care for our horses, pets, and farm animals. But they carry more than we often see—compassion fatigue, burnout, and financial restraints.



This powerful short video gives voice to their experience and reminds us that healing is possible.

Programs like ours are part of that healing. Horses are not just helping clients—they’re helping the caregivers, too.

Meet Erin, co-founder and director of Unharnessed Potential! After 12 years of selfless service in the Army, Erin found that being with horses helped her find peace. She decided to start this amazing nonprofit along side her husband David to share that peace with others! Under her leadership, countless veterans have progressed through their healing journeys. Erin isn’t just a leader though; she is also an equine specialist with both PATH and EAGALA certifications!

Connecting Passion with Purpose

Last night, Unharnessed Potential proudly hosted its FIRST-EVER networking event, bringing together equine specialists and mental health professionals for an unforgettable evening!
Our gathering focused on the primary fundamentals of Eagala, exploring the transformative power of equine-assisted therapy. The energy was terrific, with like-minded individuals sharing their experiences, insights, and passion for helping others.
We're thrilled to have made excellent connections, rekindled some relationships, and discussed new opportunities. This event marked just the beginning of our efforts to foster collaboration and innovation in the equine-assisted therapy community.
We aim to host networking events at least once a quarter, minimally, to provide ongoing opportunities for connection, growth, and learning. Stay tuned for upcoming events, and join us in shaping the future of equine-assisted therapy!
