Following a Mediterranean diet may do more than support heart health. New research suggests it could lower the risk of developing multiple sclerosis (MS), particularly for nonsmokers and adults under 45. Researchers also note that lifestyle factors, including diet and smoking, can influence long-term brain health.

For patients and families, this highlights how everyday choices may play a meaningful role in reducing risk and supporting overall wellness. Learn more at https://bit.ly/4qDDfkT.

A higher adherence to a Mediterranean diet is linked to a lower risk of developing MS, particularly in nonsmokers and people under 45

We recently welcomed a Dysport® Masterclass, hosted by Ipsen, at our Foxboro, MA facility as part of our ongoing commitment to advancing neurological education and research.

This hands-on training focused on neurotoxin injection techniques for cervical dystonia and included cadaver-based instruction and live injection practice. Dysport® (abobotulinumtoxinA) is indicated for spasticity in patients 2 years and older and for cervical dystonia in adults. These are services currently offered here at the Neurology Center of New England, making this training especially valuable for enhancing patient care.

The masterclass provided a meaningful opportunity for both new and experienced injectors to refine their skills under expert guidance. We look forward to continuing to engage in educational opportunities like this, fostering skill development, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration within our community.
