Nearly 1,000 pieces of clothing found new homes through the Prescott Young Adult Program’s clothing swap!
Young adults helped organize the event, discover new outfits, and build confidence and connections. Some were inspired to start their own donation closet in other programs! 💛

The Parent/Peer Partnership Program hosted a successful Young Adult Career Fair at the Worcester Public Library! It was inspiring to see so many young adults exploring diverse career paths, from veterinary technology and teaching to electrical work, plumbing, graphic design, nursing, and more.

Led by our dedicated peer specialists, the fair created a welcoming and supportive space for young adults to network, build connections, and learn about exciting opportunities for their futures.

Our Waltham Community Services team enjoyed a fall day at Nara Park in Acton, complete with icebreakers, a nature scavenger hunt, and outdoor team-building activities. It was the perfect mix of connection, collaboration, and fresh air.

Wayside joined the Clothesline Project on October 11 in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. 🌈 Nearly 50 children and youth created T-shirts, decorated rocks, and colored pages while learning about healthy relationships and supporting survivors. 💜

Our TEMPO Young Adult Resource Center team proudly represented Wayside at Framingham Fest during the city’s 325th anniversary celebration! 🎉 We shared resources, connected with the community, and promoted mental health support for young adults.

Due to the government shutdown, SNAP benefits for over one million Massachusetts residents have been suspended. This sudden loss of assistance means families may skip meals and local food costs are rising.
