We had 10 healthy puppies today after a little excitement. Nova’s uterus started to turn so we had to do an emergency c-section, but all 10 puppies and momma came through like champs. All are home and snug in the whelping box. Great grandma, grandma and Uncle Ringo have all been in to visit. We had 8 girls and 2 boys all between 14 oz and 1 lb.

I just looked outside and it is snowing. Christmas came early for Yellow Rose GSPs this year.

Yellow Rose GSPs is proud to officially announce the breeding of GCHB CH Yellow Rose's Crosby UD BN RE AX MXJ MJB T2B CGCA TKA to CH Yellow Rose’s Edge of the Universe DMA. Pregnancy was confirmed today and it looks like it will be a big litter. Puppies are due 10 December 2017.

Nova (CH Yellow Rose's Edge of the Universe DMA) has been in TN visiting Bing (GCHB CH Yellow Rose's Crosby UD BN RE AX MXJ MJB T2B CGCA TKA). We are keeping our fingers crossed for puppies to arrive 10 December. This breeding is the culmination of a 7 year breeding plan. The puppies should not only be beautiful conformation dog's, but also amazing performance dogs. I am very excited about this litter. I may have a few puppies available depending on the size of the litter for anyone who is interested. Future mom and dad helping with dinner tonight.

We did an AI breeding between Bing and Nova and sadly Nova did not get pregnant. However, I plan on taking Nova to Bing to do a live cover breeding the next time she comes in season. She should come in season again in the September timeframe if she stays on her current schedule of every eight months. So, hopefully we will have puppies this Fall. Stay tuned for more updates.

In the meantime we are going to finish Nova's Grand Championship and continue her competition in Dock Diving and training in Agility.

I am very happy to announce my next Yellow Rose breeding which should happen within the next several weeks.

I now have all of Nova's health tests, and the results should be posted on the OFFA website in the next couple of weeks.

Hips - Excellent
Elbows - Normal
Cardiac - Normal
CD - Normal/clear

Nova will be bred to GCHB CH Yellow Rose's Crosby CDX BN RE AX MXJ. Bing is owned by my good friend Dr. Sheri Fastenrath. Bing has also had all of his health testing completed.

Hips - Good
Elbows - Normal
Cardiac - Normal
CD - Normal/clear

This litter should be born in late Spring or early Summer. I expect these puppies to be excellent conformation and performance pups with lots of natural ability and speed.

Bing competes in agility and obedience achieving many titles in both. Bing also finished his Bronze GCH before he was 1.5 years old. On his way to his GCHB he took 1st place in Sweeps, Futurity and Regular conformation events at just under 9 months at the 2011 GSPCA Nationals in Wisconsin. Bing has also won many BOBs and Group placements.

Nova is almost 3 and she earned her CH easily by the time she was a year old. She is just a few points away from her GCH, and would have had it already if we hadn't decided to take about 5 months off to focus on dock diving. Nova earned her Dock Diving Junior, Senior and Master title in 3 weeks, and also received an invitation to the AKC Dock Diving Nationals in 2016. In addition to her success in Dock Diving, Nova also got back into the conformation ring in mid-August of 2016 and by early October 2016 she was ranked #9 GSP in the 2016 Owner Handled competition earning her an invitation to compete at the AKC National Owner Handled series in 2016. Nova is now competing in CAT and FAST CAT and in her very first weekend of competing she ran an amazing 100 yard dash at 7.73 seconds making her the fastest GSP in the AKC.

An exciting two weeks. First Ringo went High in Trial and finished his CD from Novice B at the GSPCA Nationals last week in Phoenix, AZ, and today Bing went BOB for an 3 point major in Franklin, TN and is now GCH Yellow Rose's Cosby RN. Congratulations to Bing, Sheri and Caitlin!

What a wonderful weekend for the Halo X Buddy puppies. Fauna finished her championship this weekend with a BOW for 4 pt major. Bing, Fauna's brother, had an AOM, 2 Select Dog, and a BOS (over 11 other Specials) in Louisville giving him all his majors and making him 3 points away from his GrCH. I am so proud of CH Yellow Rose's Gift of Song (Fauna) and CH Yellow Rose's Crosby (Bing).

What a wonderful two weekend run. My girl, Fauna (Yellow Rose's Gift of Song), took three Best of Opposite S*x and a Best of Breed from the classes, and then finished off the weekend with a Bred by Exhibitor Sporting Group 1. I am very proud of my little girl, Fauna.
