love one✞
is a ministry I’ve followed, admired and personally supported for a couple years now. Love One provides access to life saving medical care to sick children in Uganda. After the children receive medical care & are stable, they’re transferred to the Love One Center to fully heal, and their parents learn about basic healthcare, nutrition, and hygiene. They get lots of love & are told about Jesus…regardless if they’re an age to understand. ♡︎ Then the goal is to resettle the babes with their family. Love One continues to check in on the kiddos + families & offer ongoing support.
SO, why am I sharing this? Well, this fall we moved to Franklin, TN...and for those of you who don't know, this just so happens to be 15 minutes down the road from Love One's headquarters. A few months after we moved, the opportunity came up to become a Love One ambassador. I share this context, because I treasure the Lord's fingerprints in knitting together these small details. Two aspects of being an ambassador involve 1) praying for the ministry, & 2) fundraising for the ministry. Will you consider praying for or donating to ? If so, here’s how you can:
♡what to pray for:
• pray for our team in Uganda, our community liaisons, the children we serve and their parents, and the medical professionals who treat them.
• pray that Jesus’ Name would be known, & all those who are interacted with come to know Him as their Savior!
♡︎how to donate:
• you can learn more by checking out my personal fundraising page. the link is in my bio!
• you can buy merch! i am obsessed with their corded sweatshirts (what I’m wearing in this photo ☺︎︎) use code EMILYB, to get 10% off. the link to the love one store is also in my bio!
I’d love to chat more with you about this ministry - feel free to message me or call me! thank you for supporting, praying, & donating! I am so grateful for you all ♡︎
