The first important item to think about if you are going to bug out will be your shelter. Three different types of shelter to think about will be a wood shelter, tents, and or hammocks. Depending on where you live, size of family, and amount of gear you take with you will determine the type of shelter that will work for you or your family. If your area gets snow or you plan on a long bug out period you may want to get a 4 season shelter.
