Franklin Department of Parks & Recreation will be hosting our 1st annual Disability Awareness Walk on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Please register to come out and participate by scanning the QR code below or register in person at the MLK Center - 683 Oak Street Franklin, VA. 23851.

This walk is to bring recognition and resources to persons with disabilities in our community. Our city prides itself on "Growth, Community, and Spirit". Gathering to promote unity and recognition to our family members, neighbors, friends, and fellow citizens to grown a higher understanding of disability. Providing resources to our community to encourage social enlightenment, economic development, and even recreational opportunities to support life activity. Walking as an unified front to bring awareness to the cause and march on with pride and spirit in the name of love, peace, support, and unity.
