This question seems to bubble up a lot.
Seltzer isn't necessarily bad for your teeth, but it’s also not as harmless as plain water. The carbonation makes it slightly acidic, which can slowly weaken enamel if you sip it throughout the day.

That doesn’t mean you need to stop drinking it. It just means a few simple habits can help protect your smile. Try enjoying seltzer with meals instead of continuously sipping, use a straw when you can, and follow it with plain water to help neutralize the acidity. It’s also best to wait about 20–30 minutes before brushing, since enamel can be softer right after exposure to acids.

Take on the world with your smile.
When dental issues hold you back from living fully — whether it's avoiding certain foods, covering your mouth when you laugh, or feeling self-conscious in photos — restorative dentistry can change everything. We're not just rebuilding teeth; we're rebuilding confidence. Every crown we place, every implant we restore, every filling we craft is designed to give you back the confidence you may be missing.

Here's the real tea: a warm cup of herbal tea can be more than just comfort in a mug; it can also support your oral health. Many herbal blends, like chamomile, rooibos, and peppermint, are naturally sugar-free, helping you stay hydrated without feeding cavity-causing bacteria. Some teas are rich in antioxidants that can reduce inflammation in your gums and promote a healthier mouth overall. Unlike coffee or black tea, most herbal options are lower in tannins, meaning they’re less likely to stain your teeth.

To keep your smile at its best, choose unsweetened blends and rinse with water after drinking more acidic varieties, such as hibiscus.
