Last week in Nashville we hosted the 46th meeting of The Institute of Healthcare Executives and Suppliers, (IHES) — a focused few days of educational panels, candid CEO conversations, and practical problem-solving (plus a little Nashville flair).

A special thank you to Brian Floyd, COO of ECU Health, for a thoughtful General Session that set the tone. Brian’s session zeroed in on the real challenges facing rural healthcare in eastern North Carolina — workforce shortages, long transport distances, limited broadband for telehealth, rising financial pressure, and the outsized impact of social determinants.

We were pleased to welcome four new Hospital CEOs and two new Corporate Members into the IHES family:
