Our residents continue to bring the spirit of the Winter Olympics into our community! Today, our athletes competed side by side in our speed skating fabric races. It has been so much fun to see our residents showing off their gold medals and engaging with one another! Events like these support movement, coordination, and cognitive stimulation. In celebration of Valentine's Day, we called Bingo for a large crowd and then followed it up with a delicious hot cocoa bar--whipped cream, heart sprinkles, edible glitter, and all! After the hot cocoa bar, we focused on some individualized engagement by putting together bags of candy with a few of our residents to gift to each resident in our facility.
