VDH Manufacturing, LLC

VDH Manufacturing, LLC We enable space and science exploration, medical marvels, and advanced communications with Swiss-machined components.

Your partner for developing the smallest machined components. Take your critical products to market with a manufacturing partner that’s had a hand in thousands of components that are exploring the solar system, helping doctors save lives, and connecting humans across the world. Precision Swiss Machining

Invented in Switzerland for machining intricate gears for wristwatches, Swiss machines provide

higher precision, consistency, and cost-effectiveness on small round parts compared to traditional machines. They are ideal for long, thin, delicate components that require tight tolerances. Unlike a typical lathe, a Swiss machine moves the material through a guide bushing, which fully supports the workpiece during the machining process. From Development Through Production

Lean on our years of industry experience to help you develop parts that can be manufactured to the tightest specs at scale. Whether you’re in the design phase or looking to make a part better, cheaper, or faster, we have the capacity and tenacity to offer rapid prototyping and machine small runs of a few dozen pieces up to tens of thousands at once. ISO 9001:2015 & ITAR Compliant

We are compliant with ISO 9001:2015 standards and will soon have our official AS 9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certifications. We are also partner with a network of post-processors that are NADCAP-accredited and well-vetted.

It's finally here!!! New Core One 3D printer just arrived. Have to get some parts shipped to clear some space, but then I can start building. Looking forward to having a new, fully enclosed printer in the shop.

Testing out some new PH Horn boring bars in 17-4 H900 stainless steel. Pretty solid surface finish especially considering I'm running it much more aggressively than the old Micro 100 bars I've been using. This is one of their new boring bars with a built-in chip breaker.
