A few months ago we taught a neighbor in Fredericksburg how to perform hands‑only CPR. When a passerby collapsed, that training turned into action, and into a life saved. Community CPR can double or triple survival chances from out‑of‑hospital cardiac arrest, and basic workplace preparedness meaningfully reduces on‑scene time before EMS arrives. We offer free or low‑cost community classes in Fredericksburg that build practical skills and a clear pathway to advanced EMT education for those who want more.

Excited to be able to attend the Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) Instructor course!
ABLS is a nationally recognized program developed by the American Burn Association that equips healthcare professionals with a systematic, evidence-based approach to the initial assessment and management of burn patients. The curriculum emphasizes early recognition of life-threatening injuries, airway and fluid management, burn size and depth assessment, and critical decision-making during the first hours of care—when outcomes are most impacted.

Becoming an instructor is especially meaningful, as it allows me to help train and empower other clinicians and first responders to deliver high-quality burn care when it matters most.

Added bonus: the course is in Denver—home for me. Nothing better than advancing professionally while being back where it all started.
