We’re excited to showcase our EMT course and specialized medical training programs to students who are ready to make a difference. From hands-on emergency response skills to advanced life support and specialty training, we’re passionate about preparing the next generation of lifesavers.

Tactical Emergency Casualty Care – Law Enforcement Officer (TECC-LEO) training at the Rappahannock Regional Criminal Justice Academy.

Officers trained lifesaving trauma skills designed for high-threat, high-stress environments—because the first responder on scene may be the one who stops the bleeding.

Excited to be able to attend the Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) Instructor course!
ABLS is a nationally recognized program developed by the American Burn Association that equips healthcare professionals with a systematic, evidence-based approach to the initial assessment and management of burn patients. The curriculum emphasizes early recognition of life-threatening injuries, airway and fluid management, burn size and depth assessment, and critical decision-making during the first hours of care—when outcomes are most impacted.

Becoming an instructor is especially meaningful, as it allows me to help train and empower other clinicians and first responders to deliver high-quality burn care when it matters most.

Added bonus: the course is in Denver—home for me. Nothing better than advancing professionally while being back where it all started.

Culmination of 3 Weeks Instructing Saudi Military TCCC

After three demanding weeks instructing the Saudi military in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), I’m proud to say this course has reached a strong and successful culmination.

Watching these soldiers push themselves day after day — mastering hemorrhage control, airway management, casualty movement, and battlefield decision-making — has been nothing short of inspiring. They showed discipline, grit, and a genuine commitment to becoming the kind of medics and teammates who can save lives when it matters most.

As an instructor, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing students grow in confidence and competence. From the first scenario to the final evaluation, this group stepped up, absorbed the training, and proved they’re ready for the real-world demands of combat medicine.

I’m incredibly proud of what they accomplished and honored to have played a part in their development. Their dedication reflects the strength and professionalism of the Saudi forces, and I look forward to seeing the impact they’ll make in the field.

Here’s to their hard work, their progress, and their continued success.

Rocky Mountain Resuscitation, LLC was founded by retired Navy Corpsman and paramedic Lance Lopez, who brought over two decades of military and emergency medical service experience to the company. What began as a small training initiative has grown into a full-service medical education provider dedicated to equipping first responders, healthcare professionals, and community members with vital life-saving skills. Today, the company offers a wide range of courses—from CPR and first aid to advanced life support, tactical medicine, and EMT certification—serving as a trusted resource in emergency medical training across the region.
