Loved organizing this space for my client ❤️ As usual, a lot of sorting like with like, decluttering, using bins best suited for the supplies & labeling.

Now, the kids have a home for all of their supplies and kid’s activities ✏️🎨🖍️

Before + After Game Closet

Frequently used spaces and closets will need a nice reset every now and then. Creating systems that make resetting easier will be a game changer… see what I did there 😂

My client wanted to eliminate the plastic drawer organizers and use the black baskets from instead ✔️

Kids games stayed toward the bottom and grown up games toward the top. Kids will naturally not put things back the exact way they found them- so make it as easy as possible knowing a reset will be needed occasionally.

I used reusable zipper bags to contain small games or games that the original packaging was beyond repair.

And of course… everything was itemized and labeled.

Busy day working in the basement of a repeat client.

Clutter happens for a lot of different reasons. And one of those is life circumstances - such as a death in the family. Unfortunately, my client has lost both her parents within the last 3 years. My client has inherited their belongings and has been responsible for cleaning out their homes and possessions.

We have been tackling their belongings and memories and boy is it not only physically exhausting, but mentally exhausting.

We are taking the process step by step and making dents each and every time.

I am so proud of my client. ❤️The decisions aren’t always easy.

Before + After primary closet

This space just needed a good reset. 😀

Matching hangers will make the space more visually appealing and will also save space in your closet.

We added shoe shelves from and contained ALL the shoes to the racks.

Decluttered and moved things that didn’t belong back to their homes.

Remember, sometimes your spaces just need a deep decluttering and reset! It happens!

Before + After Garage

Garages can quickly become a dumping ground and a place for “extra storage” eventually becomes just a big mess.

7 hours later and this garage was transformed from a cluttered and overwhelming pile to a functional workspace and storage space. 😊

Kids will benefit from systems and organization. Teaching kids to be organized can help them develop important life skills such as time management, planning, and responsibility. And… I have found that kids are pretty good at maintaining systems when you set them up for success!
