Please join us in recognizing Amanda for employee of the month for May of 2026! She started with Heritage 11/26/2016 and has been a lead since 2020. She works in the nursing department, as a Medication Aide. Amanda consistently goes above and beyond to provide compassionate and attentive care to our residents. Her dedication to her teammates and the residents does not go unnoticed. Amanda has built strong relationships with families, residents and staff at Shalimar and we appreciate her continued reliability, professionalism and kindness. Thank you for everything you do!

Happy Earth Day from Heritage Communities! 🌍 Whether it's tending a garden, enjoying a nature walk, or simply opening the windows and letting the spring air in… every little act of appreciation for our planet matters.

Here are a few of our favorite ways to celebrate with the seniors in your life:

- Start a small container garden on a porch or patio
- Share a favorite nature memory over a cup of coffee
- Take a walk and collect interesting leaves, flowers, or rocks
- Donate gently used items together to reduce waste
- Bird watch from a window or outdoor chair
