Last year, I found out that my grandfather is living with dementia.

Like many families, we were left with questions—and the hardest one was this: there is no cure.

At the same time, I have been working on a research project in computational drug discovery, exploring ways to target neurodegenerative diseases at the molecular level. That experience made me realize something important:

Even when we cannot cure, we can still care better.

This video is part of my effort to make brain health more understandable—from neurodiversity to neurodegenerative diseases—and to share simple, research-informed ways we can support people living with dementia.

For Brain Awareness Week 2026, I’m dedicating this to every caregiver, family member, and support system who shows up every day with patience, strength, and compassion.

If this resonates with you, please share it—someone out there might need to hear this today.

Parenting an autistic toddler can feel like a roller coaster.

One moment they’re laughing… the next they’re melting down because you changed a cup or turned off a show.

You are not a bad parent, and your child is not broken.

Autistic brains often process the world differently — sounds can feel louder, routines matter more, and unexpected changes can be overwhelming.

The good news: small daily habits can make a huge difference.

In this video I share 10 simple, brain-informed habits that can help autistic toddlers feel safer, calmer, and more understood — from visual schedules and transition warnings to creating a calm sensory space.

These ideas are inspired by research in autism neuroscience, sensory processing, and parent-mediated support approaches.

If you’re parenting an autistic child, remember:

Different does not mean less.

And you don’t have to figure it out alone.
