FACT: Flip Flop sandals are the number one BUTT KILLER!!

Before you do anything else LOOK at the foot that isn't wearing the flip flop. Notice the difference between the two feet.
Sure, one foot is landing while the other is "pushing-off," but because your toes have to claw at the sandal to keep it from "flipping off," you won't be able dig your big toe into the ground and raise your heel. This also means it will be REALLY hard to extend your ankle, knee and hip.
In other words, you won't be able to use your glute effectively to "push you forward."
This doesn't mean you won't be able to walk it just means you come up with another strategy to move yourself forward. Unfortunately, this strategy doesn't include using your glutes to extend your hip.
You know what they say...USE IT OR LOSE IT.
My advice....look for flip flops with a heel cup. This will be better than traditional flip flop sandals as it will help you to extend your hip better.
