VITA is a free program sponsored by the IRS which can prepare simple or low income (under $60,000 per household) tax returns for FREE! Free tax filing starts on February 11th and ends on April 15th 2022. We recommend you come early in the season to get your refund sooner.

2021 TAX SEASON IS OVER,
SEE UPDATE FOR NEXT YEAR. Free tax filing will take place at CSUF on:

Friday and Saturday
9 am-4 pm

Social Security Card or ITIN for all family members
Picture ID
W-2 and all 1099 forms
1098-t forms for educational expense
Healthcare coverage statements

The CSUF VITA Program offers free tax help to low- to moderate-income people who cannot prepare their own tax returns. Certified volunteers receive training to help prepare basic tax returns in communities across Orange County. Families and individuals are also assisted in claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), and in accessing financial services and training. CSUF VITA has one location:

This Saturday we will be opening out VITA services to qualified taxpayers!

We will be at the SGMH college of business building in Cal State Fullerton. Every Saturday through 9 AM to 3 PM. (But plan to come at 2 PM at the latest)
