Our Vice President of Culinary, Chef Kevin Penn, CEC, CCA, was recently honored as the American Culinary Federation Central Regional winner for the 2025 Dr. L.J. Minor Chef Professionalism Award.

This award honors chefs who exemplify professionalism, and Chef Kevin is more than deserving. His leadership has elevated dining across 150+ StoryPoint Group communities, turning meals into experiences and dining rooms into gathering spaces. We couldn’t be prouder. Way to go, Chef Kevin!

This month's Staff Spotlight was a creepy, crawly treat! Cole, one of our maitenance staff, shared his passion for lizards. He brought a small selection of his collection, and taught us all about them! We have a new respect for Cole, and new knowledge of these wonderful reptiles.

We were privileged to help a Boy Scout earn his Eagle Scout. Arnan Srivastava came to StoryPoint Gahanna North in February wanting to know if we had a project he could do to earn his Eagle Scout. He had been one of our Tech kids who came on Sundays to help. Boy, did we have the project. We needed shelving in one of the Life Enrichment closets that had been stuffed full of holiday magic supplies. Last week, Arnan's plans and hard work came to fruition when his troop, Troop 450, came and installed the shelving. Resident, Chuck T, supervised while they built them. Our closet is now so organized and clean! Thanks Arnan and Troop 450! Glad we could help you achieve your Dream Big!
