With Campus In Color in bloom and the sun finally coming out from hiding, our flowers have needed some watering - and our IL resident, Mark, has been such a great volunteer for helping us with this! ๐ŸŒท

This week at Legacy Lane, we honored Memorial Day with vibrant flowers in our rooms and dining area ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ. Our residents enjoyed baking a special Memorial Day cake and creating patriotic art ๐ŸŽจ. Today, one of our Legacy Lane residents held a heartfelt flag-raising ceremony for our veterans as we came together to celebrate, remember, and honor their dedication and sacrifice. It was a meaningful moment shared with residents and staff in remembrance of those who have served our country.

Our residents have been enjoying something new recentlyโ€ฆ being judges for Dancing With The Stars! ๐Ÿชฉ

We make some popcorn, get some candy, get some drinks, eat some homemade strawberry cookies, and last but not least, grab our judging paddles.

The IL residents truly enjoyed this new tradition. They have a great time watching dances, being together, and baking snacks that everyone enjoys (check out the BTS cooking class in the pictures below). You can feel the joy and excitement when you enter the theater room every Thursday!
