Last week we had our Legacy Lane Valentine’s Dinner and it was such a sweet night ❤️

The residents had so much fun helping make chocolate covered strawberries and getting all of our decorations up. There was lots of laughter, smiles, and maybe a little extra chocolate along the way 🍓

It meant so much to see families come out and sit together, celebrate, and just enjoy time with their loved ones. Nights like this remind us how special our Legacy Lane family truly is.

Every year Trilogy Health Services does an bi-annual survey, called CSS, or a Customer Satisfaction Survey. This is a time to get feedback from residents and family members about our individual campus and the services we are providing.

This year, our IL residents celebrated the start of CSS by having a delicious Surf & Turf Happy Hour. The residents enjoyed lobster tail, beef tenderloin, baked potatoes, and more! It was a delicious meal and a special time where residents got to reminisce on different memories from the past by watching a CSS memory slideshow.

It was a lovely dinner and the residents deeply enjoyed it!

In the past, residents at Taylor Springs have participated in a painting class lead by an instructor. The IL residents mentioned that they really enjoyed doing that class, so we decided to do something similar, but with a twist! We decided to add wine 👀 We made our own Sip N' Paint activity. When you eat together, you laugh together, and you grow together. One of our residents went to El Asadero Bar and Mexican Grill with their family a few weeks ago. They really enjoyed their experience and recommended that we go for one of our weekly outings! So we did! The residents had so much fun. The employees even sang for us and gave one of the residents a free sombrero!

There's always something fun and special about trying new things together!

This week the IL residents got to make a dessert called "Wild Alaskan Raspberry Buckle." Most of them had heard about it, but none had ever made it. The residents ended up really enjoying it, one even took a recipe home. She wanted to try and make it herself!

Only a few days left until Christmas, and what says Christmas more than eating food with those you love at a place that holds nostalgic memories for all!!

Our IL residents got to eat at the Nutcracker Restaurant in Pataskala, a restaurant and a place that many of the residents would go to with their families for the holiday season.

This time around, the residents decided they wanted the comfort dish of liver and onions. All but one ordered it :) Christmas is the perfect time to relive memories and make new ones, and that's exactly what our residents did. 🎄 🤶

It's the Holiday Season and our IL residents are definitely in the Holiday spirit!

Our IL residents got creative and made some beautiful door decorations. They got their favorite ribbon, grabbed some pinecones, hot glue, and they were ready to go! Anddd after that, some residents helped us really get into the Christmas spirit by decorating the tree!

We love a crafty Christmas, and we especially love making something new (or decorating something old) with our friends. ❄️ 💙
