It’s a perfect day for a flu shot.

I choose to get a flu shot every year. For myself, my family, and my patients.

I am immunocompromised because of the medications I have to take for RA. I am high risk for getting the flu, and getting it bad.

I work in healthcare and have so many close encounters with people every day. The flu shot helps prevent me from bringing home the flu virus to my family.

And lastly, I don’t want to share the flu virus with any of my patients. Many of whom are elderly and also immunocompromised.

We are all in this together!

Currently stats show about 20% of orthopedic surgery residents are women.

✨Around 13,000 PAs work in orthopedic surgery.
In early 2000s, 40% of these were women.
Recent surveys show that now 53% of orthopedic surgery residents PAs are women.

✨Around 2,700 NPs work in ortho. It’s estimated that around 75% of these are women.
