The Department of Community Health and Family Medicine at the University of Florida is looking for an experienced Clinical Coding and reimbursement Supervisor to join our team! This role is essential in ensuring accurate coding, compliance with federal and state regulations, and optimization of reimbursement within our clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:
✔ Develop and oversee the department’s Billing Compliance Plan
✔ Provide real-time coding education to faculty and residents
✔ Monitor clinical revenue trends and optimize reimbursement strategies
✔ Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer regulations
✔ Lead a team of coding professionals and oversee documentation accuracy
✔ Collaborate with Billing, IT, and Compliance teams to enhance processes
✔ Travel to clinics as needed for on-site training and compliance support
What We’re Looking For:
📌 5+ years of professional medical coding experience (academic medicine preferred)
📌 CPC or CCS-P certification required
📌 Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
📌 Passion for compliance, education, and revenue cycle improvement
