Dr. O’Dowd is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She completed her education at Madonna College in Livonia, MI, and her Residency Program at Providence Hospital. She is an active member of the AAFP, FMA, and ACLM.

We are thrilled to introduce Dr. Jairo Olivas as our new Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Health and Family Medicine. Dr. Olivas will serve as one of the Sports Medicine Core Faculty at the Student Health Care Center, providing exceptional care to over 500 Gator athletes.

Dr. Olivas brings a wealth of expertise and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and Primary Care Sports Medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree and Medical School education at the University of New Mexico, then completed his Family Medicine residency and Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Florida (GO GATORS! 🐊). Before rejoining us, Dr. Olivas spent 5 years in Fairfax, Virginia, where he served as Assistant Program Director and later as Program Director of the Fairfax Family Medicine Sports Medicine Fellowship.
