Master Gardeners Nicki Byers and John Brunner demonstrated how to transplant and group flowering plants together from the original small pots into large containers. They discussed which plants can thrive together with a focus on what works best in Florida climate. Gainesville Community Bands 50th Anniversary! The Mayor of Gainesville made an appearance, declaring May 18th Gainesville Community Band day. There was a contrabassoon feature and a guest conductor with a world premiere of his original piece. It was a fantastic concert and we cannot wait to see what is next!
