There is another outbreak of the avian flu, this time at Lake Eola in Orlando. Dr. Benjamin Anderson, an assistant professor and MHS One Health program director at the UF College of Public Health and Health Professions, joined FOX 35 Orlando today to discuss the impact.
"This particular virus is predominantly affecting birds. While right now the risk to humans is very low, we have to be cautious and monitor it closely," Anderson said. "It's very important people be aware."
