Continuing with this forward movement: we are all getting excited!!! Pregnant people have been reaching out, excited to get information. I'm answering the best that I can. Waiting for the official green light to begin accepting consultations and clients. Early June is my most realistic goal, to begin consulting and booking clients. I think that the earliest due dates we'll be able to consider would be September. I'm keeping you all posted as I know things. XOXO

Opening a birth center in Gainesville and looking for other businesses to join in a wellness center type of model. I will start hosting social meet & greets to find other maternity wellness practitioners to share space with.

Figuring out Gainesville. Looking forward to meeting you.

The Universe is leading me a different way right now. Telling me to have fun, be happy, find joy, continue healing. Spend time with friends, with family, with nature. Work with other midwives, continue birth center planning.

But the unit I've been trying to get since October - I let it go. I'm not sad about it, or even mad. I was frustrated, and I still have colorful words about it, but I need to work my angle on this permitting dept.

I still have some learning and growing to do...

Midwife Margo Dandreano is bringing Vision Birth Center of Gainesville to life - ASAP. Moving at the speed of slug, things are coming together. Currently waiting on the permitting department in Alachua County, she’s ready to get moved into a beautiful, woodsy building in Waterford Park. As soon as the go ahead is given, beautification and regulations of the inside will blossom into Vision Birth Center. The hope is that clients expecting to deliver April 2024 and beyond, will have the choice to do so in Gainesville’s newest (and only) freestanding birth center. It’s been hard to keep this under wraps so here is the preliminary announcement!
**Not yet accepting clients because of the uncertainty of how much longer the unit will take to be ready for Birth Center-ification.
***Watch for events - birth workers, medical community, and the pregnant community.

Coming early 2024 - Gainesvilles only free standing Birth Center. Watch for updates.

Panhandle midwife Jan. 2019

They say that Midwifery is a calling, and I heard it screaming in every cell of my being when my children turned 18. So I enrolled into Florida School of Traditional Midwifery in Gainesville, and trained with many midwives in the Central Florida region. Then again during my last bit of training I heard Midwifery calling me to the panhandle of Florida. As a native Central Floridian I knew I wanted to practice in this state, and I wanted to provide this holistic type of care in an area that is asking for diversity in prenatal and birth options. I look forward to meeting my new community in January 2019.
