We had the pleasure of welcoming a Docent from the Harn Museum of Art this week for a special lecture on the life and work of celebrated American painter Janet Fish.

Residents enjoyed an inspiring and colorful journey through Fish’s bold still-life paintings — known for their vibrant light, reflections, and everyday beauty.

We’re so grateful to the Harn Museum for bringing the museum experience to us and enriching our community with culture, creativity, and connection.

This week, our talented residents rolled up their sleeves and got creative, arranging fresh floral vases to brighten up our dining room and community spaces! 🌼🌷🌺

Not only did they fill the room with color and fragrance, but their care and attention brought an extra layer of love to every corner of our home. Each arrangement was uniquely beautiful — just like the hands that made them.

We’re so proud of the joy and creativity our residents bring to every project.

Residents at The Gables came together to remember and reflect on the events of September 11th.

We began with a touching Remembrance Wall, where residents shared thoughts, memories, and messages of hope and unity. This was followed by a special “Remember When” Devotion, offering a moment of reflection and prayer.

To end the day, residents expressed their patriotism and creativity through flag art, honoring the resilience of our nation through every brushstroke - we will never forget. 🇺🇸

We had an absolute blast at our Luau celebration here at The Gables! The spirit of aloha was alive with laughter, music, and great company all around.

A big mahalo to Cornerstone Caregiving for keeping things cool with their tasty bar sips 🍹, and to Random Kats for bringing the fun and fantastic island entertainment 🎶🌴 - you had everyone dancing and smiling!

And let’s not forget the mouthwatering appetizers prepared by our very own Gables chef - truly a taste of the tropics! 👨‍🍳🍍
