What to expect during our open play, meet- up and workshop hours (for the kiddos)

Loads of thoughtfully curated learning through play spaces for Scouts of all ages. Specifically ages 0 - 11 years of age.

We are limiting space to ensure a quality experience for all of those who enter the space ✨

Each ticket is $25 and covers an entire family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) There is a $10 per ticket charge for every child beyond the second child.

The fee helps us with our Grand Opening expenses, as well as covers refreshments and activities for the events. This also grants each family with a ticket 3 hours of open play and exploration during the event!

Kids don’t “fall behind". They grow at the pace that actually works for them.
Letting go of the myth of “behind” isn’t lowering expectations.
It’s raising them beyond arbitrary benchmarks that only exist in school.

Because here’s the truth:
Once we’re adults, no one measures our worth by how fast we learned to read, or whether we hit milestones on someone else’s schedule.
We aren’t labelled “behind” for learning a new skill at 30, 50, or 70.

Real learning isn’t a race. It’s responsive. It’s rigorous. It’s human.
And it starts from where each learner actually is, not where a timeline says they should be.

A little hello to our new followers!

I’m a local homeschool mom of 4 and will be opening my indoor playroom + learning lab in January. I’m very excited and look forward to welcoming the community in to see what I’ve been curating for months (years, really)

We will be offering open play for the month of January & will transition to educational programs, workshops and still have open play hours February- May.

I’d love the community’s support.

Scout’s Haven is owned, operated and funded by our family. Every bit of community support is so greatly appreciated. This is truly a passion project for myself, as I hope to offer something unlike anything we’ve seen to the community. A place for not only play but, exploration, learning, connection. Learning opportunities for children AND parents, as we offer parent workshops- WITH ONSITE childcare, heyyyooo!

We cannot wait to open our doors to the community and show everyone what we’ve been working for months (years, really) to build. ✨
