We offer our sincere condolences to the members of the Galloway Fire Department and Chief Garbutt’s family.

It is with heavy heart and great sadness the we announce the passing of Past Galloway Township Fire Department Chief and Past Germania Fire Company #2 Chief and Life Member Ronald Garbutt Jr. Chief Garbutt will be greatly missed throughout the township and the community.

Funeral details will be posted at a later time.

Thank you for your service Chief we will take it from here.

Thanks to the Cape Atlantic Marine Corp League for recognizing Stacey and Payton for BLS Education. GTAS regularly educates our community in CPR, Basic First Aid and Stop the Bleed among other programs we offer.

New BLS Ambulance🚑 26-76 was placed into service. Along with our very successful St. Baldrick's Foundation fundraiser.

We are two weeks into the Spring season. Warmer weather is here and so are seasonal allergies. As the season progresses, common symptoms will include sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, itchy eyes, and fatigue. While usually mild, allergies can worsen breathing issues for some individuals.

To reduce symptoms:
• Limit outdoor exposure on high pollen days
• Keep windows closed and use air conditioning
• Shower and change clothes after being outside

If symptoms become severe or affect breathing, don’t ignore it—seek medical care. Call 911 and GTAS will be there!

Stay safe and breathe easy this season.

Today GTAS was on location as OCCC and other NJ colleges and universities kicked off the first day of their golf season at the Seaview Golf Club in Galloway. The players were already dialed in! Can’t beat a beautiful day on the course, even if it is for work.
