Jupiter, the black cat with moonlit eyes, padded out from behind the apothecary’s curtain just as the bell chimed on its own—no wind, no hands, just a whisper of magic.

He stretched, shook a few stray stars from his fur, and blinked at the shelves lined with herbs, potions, and mysteries. Tonight was the night. His witch had finally said the words he’d been waiting for:

“Come on, Jupiter. The apothecary needs its guardian.”

With a proud flick of his tail, Jupiter hopped onto the counter, claiming his throne among jars of cat’s claw and sweet incense. The air shimmered softly as he settled in, a gentle purr weaving through the room like a spell of welcome.

From now on, he wasn’t just the Witches cat—
He was the apothecary’s watchful familiar, keeper of quiet enchantments, greeter of wandering souls.

And if anyone listened closely, they could swear they heard him whisper:
“Enter with curiosity… and leave a little more magical.”

Step into the Magick as we gather inside the warm, witchy heart of Herb & Smudge Apothecary for the Winter Solstice—the sacred turning of the wheel and the rebirth of the sun. Within our walls filled with botanicals, incense, potions, and shimmering seasonal energies, we honor the longest night of the year.

This is a moment when intuition sharpens, the veil softens, and we’re invited to release what no longer serves, welcome fresh intentions, and open our hearts to the returning light.
Join us for a day filled with enchantment, community, and soulful celebration—where every corner of the Apothecary hums with Winter Solstice Magick.

Solstice Tea Time
12pm–3pm
Warm up during the midday Magick with Tea Time, featuring $5.00 Hot Shots of our Botanical Herbal Blends—crafted to soothe, uplift, and align you with the returning light.

The Spellbound Dancing Witches — 4:00 PM
The Spellbound Dancing Witches will be joining us at 4:00 pm for a powerful dance chant performance, bringing movement, Magick, and intention to the Solstice. They perform in support of their nonprofit charitable organization, adding heart and purpose to the celebration.

Kai Derrick — 6pm–9pm
Immerse yourself in the evening Magick as Kai Derrick fills the Apothecary with live acoustic sounds—a soulful, atmospheric performance that drifts between shadow and light. His music will guide the energy of the night, creating a mystical soundscape perfect for the Solstice.

Henley Wine Co. Pop-Up – 6pm-9pm
Henley Wine Co. will be set up with a delicious selection of wines, offering wine tasting and bottles available for purchase throughout the celebration.

Solstice Raffle & Community Gift Giveaways
From December 1st–20th, every purchase you make here at the Apothecary earns you a raffle ticket to drop into our enchanted Apothecary Cauldron.

On Solstice Day, we’ll draw one winning ticket every 30 minutes from 12pm–6pm, each revealing a mystery magickal gift crafted for the season’s energies.

Among the prizes, we’ll also have 12 special Gift Bags generously donated by various small business owners here on the island—these will be awarded to raffle winners throughout the day, adding even more local love to the celebration.

You may also purchase additional raffle tickets for $1.00 each to increase your chances of winning.
All proceeds from these add-on tickets will be donated to The Spellbound Dancing Witches in support of their nonprofit charitable work.
