LiveWell was lucky to spend the last few days in Topeka alongside other Pathways communities from across the state. We had the opportunity to learn from one another, share ideas, and strengthen the work happening in our own communities.

🎉 Our amazing LiveWell staff member, Donna Gerstner, brought some super important information to the bright minds and staff at Pawnee Heights School District recently! 🚭 She led a fantastic presentation all about va**ng – empowering staff with knowledge to help students to make healthy choices.

💖 We absolutely love connecting with schools throughout Southwest Kansas! Our goal is to grow more wonderful RESIST Chapters, giving students the tools and confidence to stand strong against the influences of Big To***co. Together, we can help ensure our young people aren't swayed by va**ng or other to***co products. Because when it comes to health, education truly is power! 💪

What a great evening at Seward County LHEAT last night! ❤️👍

Lucy had the opportunity to share some basic information about HIV and foster real, honest conversations about the stigma that still surrounds it. The wonderful turnout—seeing familiar faces and new ones—made the event even more special.

The conversations were meaningful, the questions were powerful, and the engagement from everyone truly made this event unforgettable.

But this work doesn’t stop here. 💬

Let’s keep the conversation going. Let’s keep learning, asking questions, and breaking the stigma together.

Strong communities start with strong partnerships 💪

Today, Lucy, Callie, and Heather had the opportunity to connect with the Grant County Commissioners to share updates on the work happening across Southwest Kansas. Local elected officials play a powerful role in shaping the health and well-being of our communities—and we’re grateful for leaders who are willing to listen, collaborate, and take action.

We also provided each commissioner with a Grant County Resource Guide and shared that this, along with the Community Health Needs Assessment, is available on our website for continued reference and community use.

Thank you to the Grant County Commissioners for your time, your leadership, and your commitment to improving the health of Grant County and all of Southwest Kansas ❤️
