On Tuesday, we engaged in painting activities. On Thursday, we participated in dancing and singing, as well as feeding the deer.

Last week was full of joy and creativity here at our community! Our residents had a wonderful time making festive door decorations, and we wrapped up the week with an amazing Family Night filled with smiles, laughter, and togetherness.

We are so grateful for the moments we share with our residents and their families—it’s what makes our community feel like home.

September is Fall Prevention Awareness Month — a perfect time to highlight ways we can help seniors stay safe and independent!

Here are a few simple tips to reduce fall risks:
⭐ Keep pathways clear of clutter and cords
⭐ Use non-slip rugs and sturdy handrails
⭐ Wear supportive, non-skid shoes indoors and out
⭐ Stay active with gentle exercises that improve balance and strength
⭐ Schedule regular vision and hearing check-ups

It was a sweet and fun day here at Graceland at Garden Ridge! 🍫🔥 Residents enjoyed gooey s’mores followed by a lively balloon toss with our visiting practitioners. Laughter, treats, and friendly competition—what could be better? 💦😊
