**THE PORCH PROJECT**
Social Distancing Photoshoot I did In my neighborhood at the beginning of the Stay At Home order.
I’m fortunate to live in such a wonderful community with lots of loving neighbors that embraced my idea. I’ve seen similar projects all over the nation and wanted to do the same for my community.

I want to thank each and every family that participated in this fun project. I met so many wonderful families that I may have never met before. Even through Social Distancing, new bonds can be formed.

I heard your stories on how the pandemic has impacted your lives both professionally and personally. Educators who are still educating classrooms while having to educate their own children. Healthcare professionals on the frontlines. Some of you have been ridiculed by patrons in grocery stores for wearing scrubs into the store. First responders, walking into situations blindly. Professionals who are working from home and making sure their children are keeping up with school work. Finding the balance between work and family. New babies being welcomed into the world who will read about this unprecedented time in their history books. Small children missing their friends and teachers.

But then you hear the good stuff! Families sitting down to dinner together. Unplugging and having game night. Families getting together through technology, Zoom and FaceTime. Lots of walks, home projects and bike rides. Crafting and creativity.

Again thank you!!! I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. Godspeed. Stay safe. WASH YOUR HANDS!!!
