"We began to see a difference in the second week of treatment!

Dr. G has been an amazing help with understanding some behavioral & emotional challenges we'd been experiencing with our son.

As parents, we knew something was just not “clicking” with our son. He has always struggled in school & reading is extremely challenging to him. He would become extremely emotional over school & almost quit before he started. During homework, we could see his eyes often become blank; other times, he’d burst into tears & just refuse to even try. He was very distractible & struggled with focusing.

We really began to notice his emotional instability with his mood swings. He could be playing just fine & have a happy demeanor, but with the smallest disturbance, he’d blow up! Almost every 3-4 days he’d stomp to his room, slam the door, & scream & kick at the wall.

I'd been following Dr. G on social media & what he was sharing about primitive reflexes & the development of the brain at an early age hit home. My husband & I set up a meeting with Dr. G where he assessed our son & explained to us that he had not developed fully out from his primitive reflexes from infancy. These reflexes were connected to the nervous system & were impacting our son’s ability to process his emotions, as well as affecting his neurological development.

Dr. G created a comprehensive plan specific to what our son needed, & worked closely with him to improve development out of the primitive reflexes & increase energy flow to his brain. We began to see a difference in the second week of treatment! Our son wasn’t blowing up as often (I think we’ve only had one episode in 4 weeks!) & his attitude and abilities in his academics has greatly improved. He’s able to focus longer & not melt down over his homework.

As parents, we are so appreciative and thankful for having found Dr. G!

Thank you so much, Dr. Garrett!" - Mom and Dad

"We are incredibly thankful for everything Dr. Garrett has done for Grayson and us!...

Grayson struggles with behavioral and emotional challenges.

If things didn’t go his way, or if he was told “no”, it would often lead to major meltdowns, including throwing himself on the floor or throwing objects.

Homework also became a daily struggle. Something as small as missing a letter while practicing spelling words could trigger a meltdown.

He also showed symptoms commonly associated with ADHD, including trouble focusing, being easily distracted, and constant fidgeting.

We tried several things at home, but nothing seemed too long term. Medication wasn’t an option for me because I wanted to address the root cause rather than simply mask the symptoms.

I came across a testimonial from a mom whose son went to daycare with Grayson and had experienced similar struggles. She shared how Dr. Garrett helped her son and how she noticed a difference within two weeks!

I reached out to Garrett that same day and set up a time to meet. During our consultation, we learned about primitive reflexes and how retained reflexes are closely connected to the nervous system and can mimic many symptoms of ADHD.

After assessing Grayson, Dr. Garrett found that he had retained primitive reflexes. He explained that Grayson’s nervous system was essentially stuck in “fight or flight” mode, which helped us better understand why he was reacting strongly to everyday situations.

Dr. Garrett worked with Grayson for four weeks to help improve energy flow to his brain so it could function more efficiently and begin inhibiting those reflexes naturally.

We noticed a difference after just the first visit. Homework time no longer ends in meltdowns. His meltdowns have become less frequent and short-lived. His concentration and focus have improved, and he fidgets less than before.

We are incredibly thankful for everything Dr. Garrett has done for Grayson and us!" - Mom

Check this out!

Look at the Brain-Body Connection after just 12 hours of therapy.

Having your child walk with their toes in is a great test for the ATNR…a Primitive Reflex.

This reflex helps the brain decipher the head from the body as well as the right and left sides of the body.

But when it remains active past ~8 months of life it can create a variety of challenges such as:

✅ trouble reading/writing
✅ balance/coordination issues
✅ attention/focus problems

You’ll see in the first video as soon as he points his toes IN, his arms become “Ape Like” because his brain can’t coordinate his body correctly. Honestly, he can hardly even perform the task…

A sure sign of an immature brain that can lead to learning and behavioral challenges like those listed above.

Then, in the second video, you’ll see a connected brain and coordinated body with ONLY 12 hours of therapy!

If you have a child struggling with learning/attention/behavioral challenges, reach out with questions. We are here to help!

“She has NEVER tolerated this…EVER…thank you a MILLION times over”

Scroll through the pictures to read exactly what this mom had to say after just ONE month of care.

And we’ve only just begun.

These parents deserve all of the credit and although the card they gave me is completely unnecessary, it sure is appreciated!

!* TESTIMONIAL *! ✅ Better Focus ✅ Fewer Meltdowns

"Griffin is 6 and had difficulty with keeping still and keeping his hands to himself. He is a good kid overall; just had a hard time with focus.

He was also having meltdowns constantly whenever he was told "no" or something didn't go his way. He would drop to the floor, sob and run and hide. And it took a lot of coaxing to get him out from hiding and to calm him down.

Dr. Garrett was recommended to me by my mom. She knows him and had heard good things about his practice.

So, I made the initial appointment to learn more about his techniques and program.

He was able to explain everything to me so I understood it. I never thought about the relationship between brain maturity and behavior.

When he evaluated Finn for the 1st time he did various movements/exercises to see if Finn still had some "Primitive Reflexes"; which he did. I had no idea that how Finn was moving was considered abnormal.

His focus has improved. He was able to build a model of Bumblebee from transformers that had over 100 pieces. He did it for 2 hours without a meltdown or getting distracted. Before this program, that would have been impossible.

I was skeptical at first, but after the first 2 weeks of the program, I was able to see changes.

He was able to stop himself from having a meltdown. He was able to talk through the issue instead of just reacting.

I haven't received a note from school about keeping his hands to himself or not focusing on his work since starting this program."

🧠 and body DISCONNECTED -> Reconnected!

Blue Shirt = Initial Examination…

You’ll see as soon and the toes point out, the arms rotate out. When the toes rotate in, the arms rotate in (especially the right).

This occurs when the brain can differentiate between different body parts; typically because of retained primitive reflexes.

After only 6 weeks of rehab we inhibited his primitive reflexes and improved the function of his 🧠! (Black shirt).

You’ll notice his brain can coordinate the movements correctly with very little arm movement.

This has lead to fewer meltdowns, improved focus and decreased impulsivity.

This is very simple test to try at home.

Give it a go and if your child does have a brain body disconnect, comment HELP and we will get them in for a thorough evaluation!

The Basal Ganglia in the brain is responsible for turning systems on and off.

It’s has 3 specific loops that may be impacting your child.

(1) Cognitive Loop > think OCD and Anxiety…these kids perseverate or get stuck on things

(2) Motor Loop > think TICS, stimming or any repetitive movements

(3) Limbic Loop > emotional dysregulation

A great test for the Basal Ganglia is the Neural Zoomer + by Vibrant labs. It will let us know if there is either an auto-immunity or inflammatory issue within your child’s BG.

#3…the third thing I’d do if my child had a developmental delay and/or a neurodevelopmental diagnosis > have them assessed for Primitive Reflexes!

These infantile reflexes are the foundation to brain developmental and when they don’t go away within the first year of life, the brain is left in an immature state > impacting motor and cognitive ability.

Fortunately, with the proper rehabilitation these reflexes can go away; signaling maturation of the brain and ultimately leading to improved cognition and behavior.

Gray Matter or the structural components (networks) of the brain are formed within the first 10 years of life. Therefore, the sooner you start (before the age of 10) rehabbing your child’s Neuro-Developmental issues (brain) the greater results you will see. Improvements can happen at any age because we can improve the efficiency of the networks through the White Matter; but those networks must have been formed within those first 10 years.
