Heart Of Gold Equines LLC

Heart Of Gold Equines is a small boarding facility with a new indoor riding arena coming soon!! Miniature horses are brought to both public and private events.

Heart O’ Gold Equines is a small farm based out of the Finger Lakes that is centered in giving back to the community and focused on providing educational and therapy service to all ages. Heart O’ Gold Equines offers the ability to make someone smile who hasn’t in days through the healing power of miniature horse therapy. For indoor events to be possible the horses wear sneakers and a horse diaper. Horses are elevator trained, and safe for room to room visits. 10-20 minute presentations about the miniature horse or other similar speeches are offered upon request. This is not a business, just a community service event led by Jessica Gulvin and assisted by Rick Gulvin, Emily Guzman, and Norma Valdez. Stryder is getting ready for the new changes happening on the farm! Soon we will be offering Therapeutic Riding lessons! He has been in training for the past few years, along with Libby, and He will be one of the horses used for lessons. We have a PATH certified therapeutic riding instructor on farm and will post more information when we get the business up and running. Stay tuned for more updates!

A lot has been happening this summer! The newest addition to HGE is Layla's New Moon. She is a thoroughbred Friesian cross and will eventually be used for therapeutic riding lessons. Over the next year Heart o gold equines will be preparing to teach therapeutic riding lessons at the farm since I have received my therapeutic riding instructor certification.

Although we've been slacking on posts, there is still a lot going on at Heart O' Gold Equines! This is the newest addition to the stables: Liberte LSF, "Libby", is a 4 year old purebred Friesian. She is bred to a thoroughbred stallion and is due May 11, 2016. Jess recently broke Libby to ride and she proves to be sweet and super smart! Look forward to many updates about Libby and her foal!
