It's Testimonial Tuesday! We love hearing about how chiropractic care has impacted your lives. Enjoy this story from one of our amazing mamas 💙
I began seeing Dr. April during my pregnancy, when I was experiencing tailbone pain and wanted to support my body as it adapted to my growing baby and prepared for delivery. Dr. April helped me achieve all of those goals and more. My tailbone pain became manageable, my pelvis felt more stable, and my labor and delivery went smoothly.
After my daughter was born, she began seeing Dr. April within her first week of life. She was experiencing intense reflux and general newborn tension, which was affecting her latch on the left side. I trusted Dr. April completely with my newborn, and we began to see improvement after her very first adjustment. Her reflux, tension, and latch all improved.
My daughter has continued care with Dr. April, focusing on diaphragm support, tension release, her SI joints, and more—even the so-called “poop buttons” (and yes, they work!). While her reflux has improved, it has also persisted at times, and Dr. April has gone above and beyond—exploring every possible avenue with me to understand the root cause and find solutions.
One of my favorite aspects of Align Chiropractic is the warm, welcoming, and family-friendly environment Dr. April has created. She and Maddy genuinely care about every client and greet each visit with enthusiasm and kindness. The office is often filled with mothers and children, creating a supportive and communal atmosphere.
Dr. April has truly built a space that supports new mothers—you can receive chiropractic care, get sourdough and homeopathic remedies, and even connect with a midwife or lactation consultant all in one place. She also thoughtfully allows time for me to feed and change my daughter before we leave, which makes our hour-long commute more than worthwhile.
Her flexibility is another standout quality. She makes every effort to accommodate schedules and coordinate with other appointments in the office—living out her phrase, “We accommodate, so you can participate!”
