Dodie Marin
My husband, Henry, and I purchased our home in Crystal Knoll in December, 2001. We have raised our 5 sons in this neighborhood. I have worked for GISD Transportation for the past 16 years.
I would like to see our neighborhood be more friendly and willing to help neighbors. I want to volunteer for the HOA to keep it from going to a management company. If the HOA is turned over to a management company our fees will drastically increase and they will be impersonal. Let’s Work Together to keep our HOA and start working together to make a more friendly, neighbor-helping-neighbor community and see how we may be able to use some of the funds to better our neighborhood.
Denise Jimenez
I have called Crystal Knoll my home for almost 15 years. I have experience after serving on the Main Street Advisory Board for the City of Georgetown. I have a background in healthcare and health insurance. I am currently employed with the Teacher Retirement of Texas.
I have enjoyed seeing changes in our neighborhood and hope to be a part of building a stronger sense of community.
Let’s maintain control of our HOA and keep costs down.
Joy Dunaway
My name is Joy, and my husband and I have proudly called Crystal Knoll our home for nearly 14 years. We are raising our children here and deeply value our community. With a background in website development and administrative roles, I am currently employed as a private driver for a local company.
I am passionate about fostering a friendly and connected neighborhood. That’s why I am eager to volunteer for the HOA, to ensure we maintain control and avoid the increased costs that would come with a management company. Let's work together to keep our community thriving and affordable.

We became Crystal Knoll residents last June and have enjoyed the place we now call home. Understanding that the HOA is in transition and looking to support our neighbors in the most beneficial way possible, I have decided to apply as an HOA candidate.
My Honey and I both work in town and are heavily involved in the community. I am a recent alumna of our local Georgetown Leadership Academy and my husband works for the City of Georgetown. As illustrated, we are the type of folks to hit the ground running when it comes to seeing a need in our community and finding ways to fill it. I've worked in politics for over a decade supporting children, young adults and families that come into contact with foster care and adoption agencies and have previous Board experience serving as the Vice Chair and Chair of various committees of a non-profit.
We understand there is a potential for a management company to take over our HOA which comes with the inevitable increase in HOA fees and potential fines. I am of the belief that this option isn't beneficial or feasible for our Crystal Knoll community and would like to be of support to circumvent that.
I hope to be of service to our neighborhood and would like to focus on building stronger communication and transparency with the HOA and our neighbors.

I have lived in Crystal Knoll since 2011. My husband originally bought our home in 2003. We have raised 3 kids here. We are active in our community, volunteering for multiple nonprofits over the years. We were on the board for a local youth league. My husband also runs multiple Marine Corps veteran organizations.
I am volunteering for the HOA board because I want to avoid bringing in a management company. Not only would we still need a board, but our dues would increase. My goal would be that we could have a more transparent board and a feeling that the HOA board is here to support the community. I hope we can work together to keep our neighborhood a place where we can all feel safe and have peace of mind.
