It’s the little things that matter most. Today, our residents in our Assisted Living community were surprised with beautiful bouquets generously donated by our friends at H-E-B! 💐
With 63 years of history here in Georgetown, The Wesleyan has built lasting connections with people who truly care—and today was a perfect reminder of that. Thank you to H-E-B for bringing smiles, joy, and armfuls of flowers to our lunch hour. ❤️

🍂 Did you know today was the first day of fall? We did — and we definitely celebrated in style! Our independent living residents enjoyed games, good laughs, and festive fall treats at our Fall Festival. 🍁
There's nothing like welcoming the season with community, joy, and a little friendly competition! We enjoyed a little axe throwing, horseshoes, fall pumpkin decorating, and nerf gun target practice 🎯.

We are still recovering from our wonderful celebration last week of Assisted Living Week, these celebrations just keep getting better!

The second half of the week took us on a beautiful virtual journey to Barcelona, Spain🇪🇸.

Residents began their morning with a virtual travel experience through the rich culture and stunning sights of Barcelona. Later, we were treated to an energetic and joyful Spanish dance performance from our independent living residents Kathy & Miguel💃🕺a highlight for all!

Lunch brought a taste of Spain with a tapas-style feast, including charcuterie, meats, cheeses, and more delicious and beautifully presented!

To end the day, we dressed up for a formal dinner that truly felt like a night out in Europe. Residents enjoyed an elegant meal and even posed for formal portraits, capturing the joy and magic of the evening.

It was a week full of culture, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Day 1 & 2 of Wesleyan Assisted Living Week!! – All Aboard for Fun!

Hello from our “cruise ship” adventure! 🚢 We’re celebrating Wesleyan Assisted Living Week with a week-long voyage full of joy, connection, and meaningful moments — and here’s a peek at our first two days:
Day 1: Spa Day & Entertainment
We set sail with a relaxing trip to the spa, where residents enjoyed soothing hand massages. The day ended on a high note with a lively performance by the talented Main Street Jammers!
Day 2: Port Day in Cozumel, Mexico
We “docked” in sunny Cozumel for a beach day filled with friendship and fun. Residents reconnected with old friends from Independent Living, built sandcastles, got temporary tattoos, and played a community favorite — balloon ball!
It’s been a wonderful start to our journey — and we’re just getting started. Stay tuned for more highlights from our week-long celebration of life in Assisted Living!

What a celebration! Our 63rd anniversary event was a wonderful success, and one of the highlights was seeing everyone enjoy the posters featuring photos from across the decades—from our founding leaders in 1962 to residents and teammates today. A beautiful reminder of the community we’ve built together!

63 Years of Service, Faith & Community
What an unforgettable afternoon! Yesterday, we had the joy of celebrating 63 years as Georgetown’s original senior living community — and the response was truly overwhelming in the best way. ❤️
Residents, families, friends, and neighbors all came together across both our Independent and Assisted Living campuses to honor this milestone. From live piano music and delicious charcuterie to sweet treats and festive goodie bags, fun was had by all — both long-time residents and first-time visitors alike!
We’re especially grateful to the talented members of our community who shared their gifts to make the celebration extra special. Seeing so many familiar faces and feeling the love from our growing Georgetown community reminded us just how deeply rooted The Wesleyan is in this town’s history — and how excited we are for its future.
Here’s to the next 63 years of faith-led, purpose-driven care.

🌺 Aloha, August!
Today we wrapped up a beautiful summer at Wesleyan with our annual Luau Lunches across campuses — and what a tropical treat they were!

From bright leis to sweet pineapple and Hawaiian-inspired bites, we celebrated the season in true island style.
While we’ve loved every sunny moment of summer, we’re also getting excited for the cozy fun of fall.
