Hello, FAD friends! As we get ready for our annual poker fundraiser, we are looking for silent auction donations. If you would like to support the cause, we would be grateful for any donation items or baskets, big or small. A smaller portion of the money we raise goes to national research towards Alzheimer’s & dementia. The rest stays local and supports our local care centers, individuals, and family & professional caregiver training. Here’s an example, one of our baskets from last year.

Wish List Giving - Year 3!!!

For the third year in a row we reached out to six area nursing homes and ask for their top three wishes for the residents, facility and/or staff. We are proud to announce that we granted more than three wishes for each and donated nearly $10,000 to our local care facilities!!! Some of the items included were:

- TVs
- patio furniture
- ice cream makers
- sofa and recliners
- iPads
- games and crafts
- bath chairs
- lifts
- Bingo machine
- DVD players with DVDs
- Echos

and the list goes on and on….

Thank you to the FAD members and our special helpers for making this a give to remember!
