Postpartum is a very fragile and intimate time. Here are a few things that I found are essential during this time:
* Prioritize rest and sleep whenever possible, even in short bursts.
* Focus on nourishing your body with whole, unprocessed foods and plenty of fluids.
* Lean on your support system. Family, friends, or a doula for help with daily tasks.
* Gentle movement, like short walks, can do wonders for both your physical and mental well-being.
* Practice self-care activities, such as warm baths, listening to calming music, or spending time in nature, to reduce stress.
* Don't hesitate to seek professional help if you're struggling with postpartum depression or anxiety. Remember, you're not alone, and it's okay to ask for support.
