Birth is intense, powerful, and deeply personal. The environment matters more than most people realize. A doula helps create a calm supportive space by keeping the room, peaceful, offering steady, reassurance, gentle touch, protecting the birthing person’s focus and supporting their preferences.

When the environment feels safe and supportive the body can do what it is designed to do. Calm encourages confidence. Support build strength. And no one should have to navigate birth feeling rushed, overwhelmed, or alone.

I just can’t say enough how incredible it is to be around a group of woman so passionate about caring for others. Yesterday was soul filling and these birth workers are doing the life changing work of supporting families through pregnancy, birth and parenthood! So grateful to be part of this community!

1. I did have a birth this Tuesday so 🤷🏼‍♀️
2. I have never had a birth between noon and three. Not even my own 4 children.
3. My calendar shows April to be the most popular. (But after this years Eagles win I suspect November to be pretty busy 😉)

Real fact-Birth is the most unpredictable thing I have ever seen!!
