LivFree® Power Yoga is the style of yoga that has become the foundation of The Yoga Shop brand. Over time Annie Q. took from her background in personal training and martial arts to create a style that is as creative and fun as it is challenging and transformational. After some prodding from her best friend and business partner Kim Charbonneau, she decided to brand the style she and others had been teaching for years. The name LivFree® Power yoga is a combination of Annie’s 2 daughters, Livia and Freesia. What makes it so perfect is that the name really speaks to the energy behind the yoga. LivFree® is just that, a physical expression of Living Free, with passion, joy, depth and purpose. It is this LIVING FREE, that the staff and community at The Shop practice every day, both on and off their mat.
