Yesterday’s Abundant Art session The Westmont at Short Pump Residential, Assisted Living, & Memory Care was full of joy, color, and beautiful moments! 🎨🕊️

We painted birds: each one a symbol of fresh new beginnings. The room was buzzing with laughter, creativity, and connection as everyone brought their unique bird to life. No two were the same, and that made it even more special.

At the end, we had so much fun looking up what each of our chosen birds meant and it was incredible how each meaning felt so personal. From hope and peace to strength and freedom, every bird told its own story.

To finish, we sang “Que sera, sera”! 🪺

We were blown away by the results of Abundant Art today with Hermitage Three Chopt! We toasted new beginnings for spring, the birds came to life, and we learned the symbolism of each bird we chose! It was a fabulous time with our friends!🪺

Throughout 2025, the wonderful individuals we serve poured their hearts into creating meaningful works of art. In a beautiful full- circle way, a percentage of our art program proceeds are always donated to support beneficial programs for those living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, as well as the family members who walk beside them.

These art programs in 2025 and the creativity of our participants helped to sponsor tickets for people to attend, supply a silent auction gift certificate, and a one of a kind special art experience during the Night to Remember, that is organized by Dowda Senior Consultants.

It is truly humbling to see how each moment of expression during 2025 can become a blessing that helps others experience a joyful and memorable evening!

🦋 Butterflies and New Beginnings at Abundant Art with the The Westmont at Short Pump Residential, Assisted Living, & Memory Care ladies!

Today we made beautiful butterfly wall hangers using vintage decoupage papers, sweet Easter embellishments, and delicate lace trims. Everyone picked their favorite patterns and created something truly one-of-a-kind.

To top it all off, we shared a little “new beginnings” toast together—celebrating fresh starts, creativity, and the joy of making something beautiful.

A lovely afternoon filled with color, laughter, and butterflies ready to take flight. 🦋✨
