Sciatica pain is more than a "pain in the butt": it’s a signal that your body is out of alignment.

Tired of relief that only lasts a few hours? Rubbing the muscle doesn't fix a structural issue. At Life RX, we act as postural detectives to find the mechanical source of your pain. We analyze hip mobility, lumbar stiffness, and posture to understand why the nerve is irritated.

Our PhysioMassage system follows a corrective process: Assess → Treat → Reassess → Plan. We use medical manual therapy and corrective techniques to restore movement and relieve nerve pressure so you can move better and live with less pain.

Stop managing symptoms and start solving the cause. Book your PhysioMassage session at our Glendale clinic or via our on-demand in-home service across Los Angeles.

Your eyes are not just for seeing — they are deeply connected to your brain, neck position, posture, balance, and movement.
When we sit at the computer for hours, our eyes keep staring at one small area. Over time, the eye muscles become tired, stressed, and less responsive. This can affect how your brain reads space, how your head positions itself, and how your body moves.
In this class, we will work on simple eye-training exercises to help reduce screen stress, improve eye coordination, support better posture, and reconnect your vision with your body movement.
Calibrate your eyes — recalibrate your body.

🧣 That 'Permanent' Neck Knot? It’s actually your shoulder blade. 🧣

Do you have a stubborn knot at the base of your neck that never goes away, no matter how much you stretch?

🔍 THE CONNECTION: The Serratus-Neck Trap
Your Serratus Anterior holds your shoulder blade flat against your ribcage. When weak, your shoulder blade 'wings' or tilts. Your neck muscles: specifically the Levator Scapulae: must work 24/7 to hold it up. Your neck is exhausted because your shoulder is unstable!

✅ THE SELF-ASSESSMENT: The Wall Push Test
1. Stand arm's length from a wall.
2. Perform a slow wall push-up.
3. Check if your shoulder blades 'wing' out like little fins.

If they do, your neck tension is a stability issue, not just a 'tightness' issue.

🛠 THE PHYSIOMASSAGE FIX:
Standard massage won't fix a winging scapula. Our PhysioMassage releases tight chest muscles and uses manual therapy to 're-map' your stability, finally giving your neck a rest.

Restore motion. Correct posture. Live pain-free.

At the end of the session, you can clearly see the result:
✔ Improved neck rotation
✔ Reduced stiffness
✔ Significant pain relief

This is what proper assessment, treatment, and technique can do in a single session.

Real work. Real results.

Stop chasing your pain. It’s usually just a signal, not the source.

Try this quick test: Reach your arm high over your head. Do you feel a tug in your ribs or a pinch in your hip? If so, your fascia is stuck.

Think of fascia as the body’s internet. It’s a high-speed, 3D web connecting every muscle and bone. Standard massages only rub the surface, but if the "network" is lagging, your pain stays stuck. Chronic tension isn't just a tight muscle; it’s a communication error in your fascial chain.

At Life RX, we act as postural detectives. Our PhysioMassage system isn't a spa treatment; it’s a corrective process:
1. Assessment: Finding the glitch.
2. Targeted Treatment: Releasing the web.
3. Reassessment: Proving the change.
4. Recovery Plan: Keeping the system online.

💥 Why does your back only hurt on ONE side? 💥

If you feel a constant pinch or ache on one side of your lower back, the problem might not be your back at all: it’s likely your hips.

🔍 THE CONNECTION: The Hip Drop (Trendelenburg Sign)
When you stand on one leg, your Gluteus Medius should keep your pelvis level. If it's weak or 'sleepy,' your hip drops. To compensate, your lower back muscles (the QL) have to 'hike' the hip up, causing chronic compression and pain.

✅ THE SELF-ASSESSMENT: Single-Leg Balance Test
1. Stand in front of a mirror.
2. Lift one knee toward your chest.
3. Does your opposite hip drop down? Or do you have to lean your torso sideways to stay upright?

If you failed this test, your back is doing the work your hips should be doing.

🛠 THE PHYSIOMASSAGE FIX:
At LIFE Rx, we don’t just rub the sore spot. Our PhysioMassage system (Assessment → Treatment → Reassessment → Plan) releases overactive back muscles and uses corrective techniques to wake up those dormant hip stabilizers.

Stop treating the symptom. Fix the root cause.

Are you feeling tingling or numbness in your hands? ✋⚡️ Before you assume it’s Carpal Tunnel, look at your chest.

Your Pectoralis Minor muscle could be the culprit behind 'Double Crush' syndrome.

🔍 Clinical Test: Supine Pec Minor Length
Lie flat on your back on a firm surface. Do your shoulders rest comfortably on the floor, or do they tip forward toward the ceiling? If they're 'winged' up, your pec minor is short.

💡 The Clinical Insight: The Pec Minor acts as a bridge over the nerves and blood vessels traveling to your arm. When it’s tight from desk work, it can compress those nerves, mimicking hand and wrist issues.

🛠 The Fix: We apply targeted clinical manual therapy to the Pec Minor to 'decompress' the neurovascular bundle, followed by movement re-education to keep that space open.

Experience the difference of an assessment-driven massage.
