Wow! So honored to join 50 of the BEST in High Technology, Regenerative Medicine, and Artificial Intelligence in Cambridge University on August 28. Closed to the public, by invitation only. I am the lone US Gynecologist invited to speak on Tissue Engineering with Plasmaporation. I have 16 years of experience on these topics and now I get to share it. So very excited! Got my tickets and transports and hotel all lined up! I will share with you what I learn!

Summer of 2000. Matthew broke his arm wrestling with Dillon and falling off his bed. Got it casted, trekked back to Yosemite, wrapped it in plastic, and headed back to Housekeeping Camp and spent all week playing in the Merced River, tossing rocks, building dams, trying to catch little fishies. Samantha loved her brothers and was the most excellent dirt and mud bunny you could have as a baby sitter. Robyn and I were in in the closest thing to heaven.

Housekeeping Camp in Yosemite the summer of 1998. Right by the Merced River that crested and flooded our campsite. Samantha was 9 years old and Dillon (held by mommy here) was 9 months old and Matthew was inside Robyn’s tummy at 5 months. Had to rapidly pack up and move to higher ground. The year before, January 1997, Yosemite Valley went underwater due to heavy rains for the 6th worst flooding in recorded Valley history. Glad we missed that one! It is always an adventure in Yosemite! Family traditions are just the best memories!

Always outdoors hiking and climbing. Swimming and Skiing. You never really saw us sitting poolside much. One of our fun places to explore was Snow Canyon just outside of St. George, Utah. Gorgeous rock formations, lava tube caves to spelunk. Beautiful drive. Would then drive to a little city called Hurricane and go shooting our 22s, 9s, 45s, and ARs at the “Bend”(all the locals know this place) before the 30 minute ride to Zion National Park. There used to be a steel milk jug hanging 500 yards away on the side of the mountain that we would aim at and hit! I taught my kids how to shoot rifles there. One time my son Matthew was shooting my R***r 45LR 22 pistol using my gun carry bag as his bench rest. He somehow shot a hole through the Cordura nylon of the bag and still hit his target :-). Epic. Those guns I taught them how to use are now theirs and something to remember their mom and dad with.

The Challenge: Ask Grok AI who the Top Labiaplasty Surgeons are in Texas. What it showed me is astounding! The top spots were taken almost exclusively by my Alinsod Fellows! I am way beyond proud.

My first dive into what AI thinks of me and my Fellows. Texas is definitely the Center of the Labiaplasty Universe.

Finally time to take off for the week and take the family to Telluride, Colorado! Living in California, most every summer of my kid’s youth were spent in Yosemite for at least week. Now our families are in Texas and Nevada so Colorado is a great place to start new traditions. Can’t wait to hike and bike and golf and zip line with the kiddos. It will be my grandson Miles first All Family Vacay.

By the way, that is my Baby Boy Matthew over 15 years ago getting some water from Ipper Yosemite Falls as we crossed the meadow and the bridge biking to Camp Curry. Such awesome memories.

Perhaps the fastest growing surgery I do is removal of external a**l skin tags. It is a forgotten topic. No one wants to even mention it. Early in my career I would remove a few per month and now it is several every week. No one wants to do them. Gynecologists, Urogynecologists, Colorectal Surgeons, Gastroenterologists all pretty much run away from them. The problem is that they are considered a cosmetic problem, difficult to get insurance approval to remove, and the compensation for removal is exceptionally low. Plus, you need specialized expensive equipment, such as a laser or radiofrequency device, to succeed in this type of practice. No one wants to buy a $20,000 to $85,000 machine, spend an hour of surgical time, and get paid less than $200 for the case. As for me, my machines for l***aplasty and vaginoplasty work well for a**l skin tag removal and so our practice booms with fair pricing and improvement of the patient’s quality of life. No more pulling and adjusting and discomfort and tough times cleaning. And it looks beautiful too. I do not like it when I create a beautiful l***a minora, majora, cl****al hood, perineum and then look down and see a large piece of skin from the a**s poking out at me. I want the entire perineum and peria**l area to look gorgeous! A Total Mommy Makeover Down Under.
